Orange is the bold finish in the Lambda i10 range, and the only one that could be called loud. Against the leather-effect texture it reads as a warm tan-orange rather than anything neon, but it’s still unmistakably the device people notice first.

There’s a practical argument for it too. If others around you use heated tobacco devices, the dark finishes look alike at arm’s length, and an orange one never gets picked up by mistake.

Battery and heat control

The two specifications that matter on this device.

3200 mAh delivers 35 to 40 sessions per charge. For comparison, an IQOS ILUMA i holder and pocket charger give around twenty between refills.

Temperature is adjustable between 200 and 300°C, with session length from 3 to 6 minutes. That flexibility is absent from every official IQOS device, which runs one profile regardless of what you’re smoking. It rewards anyone who rotates flavours: light aromatic sticks like Silver prefer the low end, full tobaccos like Sienna prefer the high.

Choosing between the Lambda induction devices

Performance is a constant here, so the choice is about the object. Aluminium and lowest price is the i8, covered in our Lambda i8 review. An OLED display and self-cleaning is the i9. A leather-effect finish and the lightest body at 80 grams is the i10.

How to use it

Start with a full USB-C charge. Insert a TEREA stick to the filter line without twisting and begin heating, waiting for the ready signal before drawing.

Temperature and duration are set on the device. Begin in the middle of the range, then tune by ear: more heat when a stick tastes thin, less when it tastes sharp or you want the aroma to show.

Which sticks fit

All TEREA editions, SENTIA, and other Smartcore sticks carrying an internal metal element. The Pearl capsule flavours are no different, since what matters is the element rather than the flavour.

HEETS don’t work. They contain no metal element, leaving induction nothing to heat, so HEETS users need the blade-based Lambda T3 or CC, or the IQOS Originals range. Maintenance

There isn’t much. Induction means no tobacco touches the inside of the device, so no residue accumulates and no cleaning cycle is needed.

What does matter is temperature. A 3200 mAh lithium battery degrades faster in heat than through use, so keep it out of parked cars and direct sun, use the cable it came with, and avoid using it while charging.

Does it work with all TEREA sticks?

Yes. Compatibility comes from the induction mechanism rather than the flavour or market, so every edition works, including the Pearl capsule range.

Is it an official IQOS product?

No. Lambda is a third-party manufacturer, so there’s no Philip Morris warranty. Any cover comes from the retailer.

How do I clean the leather finish?

A dry or barely damp cloth. Don’t soak it, keep oils and solvents away, and keep it out of direct sun.

Can it heat HEETS?

No. HEETS have no metal element inside, so induction can’t heat them. The blade-based Lambda T3 and CC handle HEETS instead.
