The original IQOS ILUMA devices (One, Standard, Prime) all run the standard session: up to 14 puffs or 6 minutes.

The newer ILUMA i series adds two relevant features. Pause Mode lets you pause mid-session and resume the same stick within a time window, something the original ILUMA can’t do.

Nicotine: how does TEREA compare to a cigarette?

Two clarifications people often get wrong:

The tobacco inside a stick contains more nicotine than 0.5 mg. The 0.5 mg figure is what the aerosol delivers to you during a session, not the total content of the tobacco.

Why did my TEREA stick finish after 10 puffs?

Fast, frequent puffing hits the puff counter early, and short shallow puffs can also register. Space your puffs out and most sticks will feel longer. If sticks consistently end far short of the limit, check your device battery.

Can I smoke half a TEREA stick now and half later?

Not on standard ILUMA devices; one heating cycle uses the stick. The ILUMA i’s Pause Mode is the exception, letting you pause and resume within a session window.

Do menthol flavors have less nicotine?
