Kazakhstan is our best-selling TEREA edition, and for two reasons that work together: it costs less than UAE stock, and it carries five Pearl capsule flavors, the widest Pearl range of any edition anywhere. The other eleven flavors use the same colour names UAE customers already know, so there’s nothing new to learn your Amber is still Amber, your Turquoise is still Turquoise, just at a better price.

Why Kazakhstan is the edition most people end up buying

The practical case is simple. Kazakhstan taxes tobacco far less than the UAE does, so the same Philip Morris product retails lower there and arrives here at a lower base cost. The flavor case is the Pearl range. The UAE edition carries no capsule flavors at all, and Japan carries two. Kazakhstan carries five. If the click-to-change-flavor experience is what you want, this is the edition built for it.

And unlike the Japan range with its Regular-line naming or Indonesia with its clove Editions, Kazakhstan needs no translation. It uses the international colour system, so anyone coming from UAE stock can reorder their usual flavor by name.

The classic flavors

Tobacco, no menthol. Amber is the best-seller here as everywhere: roasted, rich, full-bodied. Bronze adds cocoa and dried-fruit warmth. Teak is the strongest character in the line, woody with a peppery finish. Yellow is the light option, smooth with a citrus lift, and the usual starting point for anyone coming from light cigarettes.

Menthol. Turquoise is the reference menthol, clean and strong with a citrus edge. Silver is softer, light menthol with herbal, tea-like notes. Blue sits between them, mint-forward with a cool finish.

Fruit and menthol. Purple is berry with menthol, sweet rather than sharp. Green Zing turns the citrus up and the sweetness down, the sharpest of the four. Summer Wave is tropical fruit with menthol, the lightest and easiest of the group.

The five Pearls, compared properly

Coming from another edition? Nothing to relearn — mostly

If you buy UAE stock today, the names map one to one: Amber is Amber, Turquoise is Turquoise, Silver is Silver, Yellow is Yellow, Bronze is Bronze. The blends are the same concepts, though batch tuning differs slightly between markets, and regular users sometimes notice a marginally different intensity. New users won’t.

Coming down from the Japan range, the matches run: Rich Regular → Amber, Bold Regular → Teak, Smooth or Balanced Regular → Yellow, Menthol → Turquoise, Mint → Silver, Purple Menthol → Purple. Sun Pearl exists in both.

Which one should you order first?

Full-flavor cigarette smokers: Amber, or Teak for more spice. Light smokers: Yellow. Menthol smokers: Turquoise, or Silver if you want it gentler. Capsule-curious: Sun Pearl. And if you already know your flavor from UAE stock, just order the same name.

Specs and device compatibility

Each stick carries 0.5mg of nicotine and gives up to 14 puffs across roughly 6 minutes. Packs hold 20 sticks; cartons hold 10 packs, 200 sticks, at a better per-stick price. Full specs live in how many puffs are in a TEREA stick.

Kazakhstan sticks run in any induction device: IQOS ILUMA, the ILUMA i series, and Lambda i8, i9 and i10. They will not heat in the IQOS 3 Duo, Originals Duo, Originals One, lil Solid, Lambda T3 or Lambda CC — blade devices, built for HEETS. Reading a Kazakhstan pack

Packs carry Kazakh and Russian text with Kazakhstan’s health warning format, and flavor names stay in Latin script, so Amber reads as Amber even if you don’t read Cyrillic. Frequently asked questions

Is TEREA Kazakhstan original?

Yes. Every pack is manufactured by Philip Morris International for the Kazakhstan market and arrives factory-sealed. An imported edition is genuine PMI stock priced for another country, which is not the same thing as a counterfeit. Buy from a seller who can tell you their source, and check any pack against our fake-spotting guide if you want certainty.

Why is it cheaper than UAE stock?

Tax. The UAE applies 100% excise plus VAT on tobacco; Kazakhstan taxes far less, so the identical product retails lower at source. The stick inside doesn’t change.

Which Pearl flavor is best?
