LAMBDA CC Grey Device

Before you order: the Lambda CC is a blade device for HEETS and does not heat TEREA sticks. TEREA users need an induction device, covered further down this page.

For HEETS users, Grey is the middle ground of the CC range: more presence than plain black, considerably quieter than the gold. It’s also the sensible compromise on upkeep, since a mid-tone grey shows fingerprints and scuffs less than gold or white do without disappearing entirely.

What the CC does that other blade devices don’t

Most blade devices give you one heating profile and a status light. The CC gives you control that’s unusual in this category.

Temperature runs from 200 to 300°C, adjustable rather than fixed or limited to two presets. Lower settings give a lighter, cleaner draw; higher settings give more body and denser vapour. Session length is adjustable too, from 3 to 6 minutes. An LED display shows temperature, battery level and session time rather than colour-coded lights.

And the 3200 mAh battery is more than double the Lambda T3 at 1500 mAh, and considerably more than any official IQOS blade device manages.

CC or T3

The CC has more than double the battery, an LED display rather than indicator lights, and fully adjustable temperature and session length. The T3 is simpler and lighter, with a fixed 5 minute 30 second session and two temperature levels, and it charges faster at around 70 minutes. The CC is the better device; the T3 is the more convenient one.

The blade, and why it’s different

Ceramic blades are the weak point of every official IQOS blade device. Twist a stick as you pull it free and the blade can crack, which ends the device rather than damaging it. That’s the usual cause of death for an IQOS 3 Duo or Originals model.

This runs a titanium steel alloy blade instead, which survives the same treatment. If you’ve broken one before, you already know why that matters.

Keeping the blade clean

Residue is unavoidable on any blade device, since the blade is inside the tobacco throughout each session.

The automatic function covers day-to-day upkeep. A brush and cleaning sticks every few weeks covers the rest, and it’s worth the habit: most complaints about blade devices are really complaints about uncleaned ones.

Switching to TEREA later

Worth knowing now rather than after you buy: TEREA needs induction heating, so a blade device can’t be part of that switch.

Purchase notes

No PMI warranty applies to any Lambda device, since Lambda is an independent manufacturer. Retailer cover is the only cover, so ask about it. Sticks are ordered separately.

Practical care

Heat is the main threat to the battery, so avoid leaving it in parked cars or in direct sun through the summer months.

Cleaning is the other half. A blade device left uncleaned loses flavour within weeks, and no amount of temperature adjustment compensates for a dirty blade.

The six colours

Does it perform differently from the other finishes?

No. Every Lambda CC shares the same blade, battery, temperature range and display.

Does it work with TEREA sticks?

No. The CC is a blade device and TEREA needs induction heating. For TEREA you need the Lambda i8, i9 or i10, or an IQOS ILUMA model.

Which sticks does it work with?

HEETS, Marlboro heatsticks, Parliament, Fiit and similar blade-compatible sticks.
