Before you order: the Lambda T3 is a blade device for HEETS and does not heat TEREA sticks. If you use TEREA, you need an induction device, covered further down this page.

For HEETS users, Red is the bold finish in the T3 range. Where black disappears and the green stays quiet, this is a device that reads as chosen, and there’s a practical side to that: if others around you use heated tobacco devices, a red one never gets picked up by mistake.

All five finishes perform identically, so the colour is the whole difference.

How the controls work

Two buttons, and the indicator light does most of the communicating.

The upper button is the main control: one click for a battery check, a two-second hold to start heating, five clicks to run the automatic cleaning cycle, which takes about 30 seconds.

The lower button switches temperature mode. Hold it for two seconds to move between standard, shown white and set as default, and high, shown yellow. Battery level uses the same light: white means 100 to 30 percent, yellow means 30 percent down to empty, red means charge it now.

The heating cradle is magnetic and removable, which makes both removing a used stick and reaching the blade for cleaning easier than on a fixed-chamber device.

T3 or Lambda CC

The Lambda CC has more than double the battery at 3200 mAh against 1500, an LED display rather than indicator lights, and fully adjustable temperature and session length rather than two presets and a fixed 5 minute 30 second cycle. The T3 is simpler and lighter, and it charges faster at around 70 minutes. The CC is the better device; the T3 is the more convenient one.

Built around a titanium blade

What kills an official blade device is almost always the blade itself. Ceramic is brittle, a twisted stick can snap it, and a snapped blade means replacing the whole device rather than a part.

Titanium steel alloy doesn’t break under the same handling, which is the practical argument for choosing this over official blade hardware.

Cleaning, honestly

This is the part people skip and then regret. A blade device accumulates tobacco residue by design, because the blade is buried in the stick for the full session.

Use the automatic cycle for routine maintenance and a brush with cleaning sticks periodically. Flavour tasting flat is almost always a cleaning problem rather than a device problem.

We keep cleaning accessories in stock, and our guide to cleaning an IQOS device walks through the method, which is identical for any blade device.

The TEREA question

A lot of HEETS users end up here eventually, so it’s worth being clear: this device won’t heat TEREA, because TEREA uses induction rather than a blade.

If and when you switch, the Lambda i8, i9 and i10 are the induction models in this range, alongside official IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i devices.

You’d gain a device that never needs cleaning and 75 flavours across five TEREA editions, including the Pearl capsule range. The incompatibility is explained in HEETS in ILUMA and TEREA in IQOS 3 Duo, and the device compatibility guide has every model listed.

What to know before ordering

Third-party hardware means no Philip Morris warranty behind it. Whatever cover you get comes from your retailer, and it’s worth confirming that first. Sticks are sold separately.

Maintenance and storage

Store it somewhere cool. Lithium batteries degrade faster in heat than through use, and a dashboard in an Abu Dhabi July is the fastest way to age one.

Keep the cleaning routine going too. Flat, muted flavour is the first sign of a blade that’s overdue, and it arrives within weeks rather than months.

Shipping

One hour across Abu Dhabi, including Khalifa City, Al Reem Island, Yas Island, Mussafah and Mohammed Bin Zayed City. Same-day to Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Cash on delivery is available anywhere we deliver, and anything above 200 AED ships free.

The five colours

Red is the boldest of the five. Gold is the warm metallic a step below it, Blue is the cool mid-range choice, Army Green is the muted option, and Black is the classic that hides marks best. All five are on the Lambda T3 collection page.

The T3 comes in two body types, all-aluminium and aluminium with 2.5D tempered glass, the glass version gripping better but showing fingerprints more.

Frequently asked questions

Does red perform differently from the other colours?

No. Every Lambda T3 shares the same blade, battery and features.

Does a bold finish show marks more?

Brighter finishes show scuffs sooner than black over long-term pocket use, though the difference is smaller on a solid colour than on a bright metallic.

Does it work with TEREA sticks?

No. The T3 is a blade device and TEREA needs induction heating. For TEREA you need the Lambda i8, i9 or i10, or an IQOS ILUMA model.

Which sticks does it work with?

HEETS, Marlboro heatsticks, Parliament, Fiit and similar blade-compatible sticks.

How many sticks per charge?

Between 18 and 20 from the 1500 mAh battery, recharging in about 70 minutes.

Does it need cleaning?

Yes, regularly. Blade devices collect residue by design. The automatic cycle takes about 30 seconds, and periodic manual cleaning keeps flavour quality up.

Is it an official IQOS product?

No. Lambda is a third-party manufacturer, so there’s no Philip Morris warranty. Any cover comes from the retailer.
