Mint is one of two finishes that exist only on the EZ and never appeared on the lil SOLID 2.0. A soft pale green rather than anything vivid, it’s the lightest colour in the range and the furthest thing here from a device that looks like tobacco hardware.

That’s deliberate on KT&G’s part. The EZ was positioned as the friendlier, more approachable version of the platform, and the palette reflects it.

What you can actually smoke in it

Most listings stop at “works with HEETS” and leave it there. There’s more to say.

Fiit is KT&G’s own stick line, built specifically for lil SOLID and what the manufacturer recommends for both performance and device longevity. The range spans several profiles, including Regular, Regular Deep, Marine, Alpine, Spring and Velvet, with periodic special editions on top.

HEETS work too, and plenty of UAE users prefer them, partly from familiarity and partly because they’re more densely packed with tobacco than Fiit sticks are.

There’s no wrong answer between them. Fiit is tuned for the device; HEETS is what most people here already have in a drawer.

TEREA and DELIA will not work. Both are SMARTCORE sticks carrying a metal element built for induction heating rather than tobacco designed to be pierced by a pin, and forcing one in risks damaging the device.

A Korean device, not an IQOS one

lil SOLID is made by KT&G, the South Korean tobacco company, and distributed by Philip Morris International in many markets. It sits beside IQOS rather than within it.

The heating reflects that. Where IQOS ORIGINALS DUO uses a flat ceramic blade, lil SOLID uses a steel heating pin. Ceramic cracks; steel doesn’t. That’s the practical case for this platform over official IQOS blade hardware.

Removing sticks: the opposite of IQOS

On IQOS blade devices you pull sticks straight out, because twisting cracks the ceramic blade.

On lil SOLID you rotate the stick more than three times in one direction and then remove it. The rotation prevents tobacco residue from staying in the chamber, and the steel pin takes it without complaint.

Anyone who owns both needs to keep those two habits apart.

If you want TEREA instead

You’d need an IQOS ILUMA, ILUMA i or a Lambda induction device.

What changes is that induction devices need no cleaning at all, since nothing inside them touches tobacco, and that TEREA runs to 75 flavours across five editions, including the Pearl capsule range that neither Fiit nor HEETS has an equivalent of. HEETS in ILUMA and TEREA in IQOS 3 Duo explains why the systems can’t cross over.

The rest of the EZ range

Black is the neutral that hides marks best, Blue is the mid-range option, Rose Gold is the warm metallic and the other EZ-only finish, and White is the brightest. All of them are on our lil SOLID collection page.

Pale finishes like this one show fingerprints sooner than Black does, which is worth weighing if you’d rather never think about it.

Care in the UAE

Keep it out of parked cars and off dashboards through summer. Heat ages a lithium battery faster than heavy use does.

Clean the chamber with the included brush every few sessions. Pin heating leaves less residue than a ceramic blade, but the device isn’t self-cleaning. We stock cleaning accessories, with technique in our guide to cleaning an IQOS device.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mint a bright green?

No. It’s a soft, pale tone and the lightest finish in the EZ range, and it’s one of two colours that never appeared on the lil SOLID 2.0.

What’s the difference between Fiit and HEETS in this device?

Fiit is KT&G’s own line, designed for lil SOLID and recommended by the manufacturer. HEETS also work and are more densely packed with tobacco, which some users prefer.

Can it use TEREA?

No. TEREA is a SMARTCORE stick built for induction heating and can damage a pin device.

Does the pale finish mark easily?

More than Black does. It cleans off easily enough, but Black stays looking new longer.

How many sticks per charge?

Around 25, with three consecutive uses, and charging takes roughly 90 minutes over USB-C.
