IQOS lil Solid Ez Rose Gold Device

Rose Gold is the warm metallic in the lil SOLID EZ range and the boldest finish KT&G offers on the platform. It’s also one of two colours exclusive to the EZ, alongside Mint, and never appeared on the lil SOLID 2.0.

If you want a heated tobacco device that reads as an object rather than as equipment, this is the one in this range.

Personalising it

lil SOLID has something most heated tobacco platforms don’t: replaceable side covers.

They’re sold separately in a wider palette than the devices themselves, in shades including Rose Gold, City Violet, Fuchsia Pink and Scarlet Red. Because they swap independently of the body, a device bought in one finish can be changed later without buying another device.

That’s genuinely rare in this category. Among IQOS hardware only ORIGINALS DUO and the ILUMA i Prime offer anything comparable, and neither of the all-in-one IQOS devices does.

Starting from a metallic body rather than a neutral one narrows which covers work well with it, but gives a stronger base to build on.

Worth being clear, since most listings blur it. lil SOLID is a KT&G product, developed by the South Korean tobacco company and distributed by Philip Morris International in many markets.

It heats with a steel pin rather than the ceramic blade used in IQOS ORIGINALS devices. Ceramic blades crack, most often from a stick being twisted during removal, and a cracked blade ends the device. Steel pins don’t fail that way.

lil SOLID: rotate the stick more than three times in one direction, then remove it. The rotation keeps residue out of the chamber, and the pin is built for it.

Fiit, KT&G’s own line and the manufacturer’s recommendation, plus HEETS.

Not TEREA and not DELIA. Both are SMARTCORE sticks with a metal element designed for induction heating rather than for a pin, and forcing one in risks damage. TEREA needs an IQOS ILUMA, ILUMA i or a Lambda induction device, as explained in HEETS in ILUMA and TEREA in IQOS 3 Duo and listed in the device compatibility guide.

The other finishes

Black hides marks best, Blue is the mid-range choice, Mint is the other EZ-exclusive colour, and White is the brightest. Everything sits on our lil SOLID collection page.

One practical note: metallic finishes show fingerprints sooner than matte black does. It wipes off easily, but black stays looking untouched longer.

Care in the UAE

Keep it out of parked cars and direct sun through summer, since heat ages the battery faster than use does.
