About the flavor

The hierarchy is menthol first, tobacco a clear second, with a light citrus edge running through the cooling. That citrus is what separates Turquoise from a plain mint stick: it keeps the cold from tasting flat, and it’s the detail people miss when they switch to something colder and blunter.

The tobacco base stays visible throughout, which is deliberate. Turquoise isn’t trying to bury the tobacco under ice; it sits at the level where you still taste what you’re smoking. That balance is the whole reason it works as an all-day flavor rather than an occasional one.

This happens, and it’s worth knowing where to go rather than assuming the sticks have changed.

Menthol tolerance builds. After a few months of daily Turquoise, plenty of users find the cooling has flattened out, and the answer isn’t a different brand but a stronger stick. The Japan range carries Black Menthol, which is the hardest pure cooling TEREA makes, and its Black Purple Menthol adds berry at the same intensity. Neither exists in the UAE edition.

A gentler option is simply rotating. Alternating Turquoise with a tobacco flavor like Amber for a week resets your palate more effectively than pushing straight to maximum cooling, and it’s cheaper than switching your whole habit.
