IQOS ILUMA ONE Kit Pebble Beige

Pebble Beige is the warm neutral in the ILUMA One range: a soft sand tone with a matte finish that reads closer to a natural stone than to a gadget. It’s the colour people choose when they’d rather the device didn’t announce itself, and it pairs with more things than any other option in the lineup.

Underneath the finish it’s identical to every other ILUMA One. Same battery, same heating system, same 20 sticks per charge. The colour is the whole difference.

What comes in the box

ILUMA One kits are short on parts by design, because the device is a single unit rather than a holder and charger pair.

Inside you’ll find the ILUMA One device in Pebble Beige, a USB-C charging cable, a small tool for cleaning the outer cap, and the documentation with warranty details.

Two things are not included, and both surprise people. There’s no power adapter, only the cable, so use any USB-C phone charger you already own. And there are no TEREA sticks, which are sold separately and which the device needs to do anything at all.

Living with a light colour

Beige is the warmest of the two neutrals, and the practical distinction between it and its cousin is worth knowing before you order.

Pebble Grey is the cool neutral and the more forgiving of the two on marks over months of use. Pebble Beige is warmer and softer to look at, which is why plenty of people prefer it despite the light shade, but it will show wear sooner than a darker finish would. Keeping it in a pocket rather than loose in a bag makes most of that difference.

If you want something with more presence, Azure Blue is the popular middle ground and Sunset Red is the only bold option. Moss Green is the other muted choice, earthier than beige. All five sit together on our ILUMA One collection page.

First charge and first stick

Charge it fully before you use it. That takes roughly 90 minutes over USB-C from empty, and if the battery arrived very low it can be up to 20 minutes before the first LED lights at all, which is normal rather than a fault.

To use it: slide the cap open, insert a TEREA stick up to the filter line without twisting it, then press and hold the button until the device vibrates. A second vibration around 20 seconds later means the stick is ready. Draw normally for up to 14 puffs or about six minutes, then slide the spent stick out and close the cap.

A brief tap on the button shows the battery level at any time, and a yellow flash at the bottom of the status bar means it needs charging.

One thing to set expectations on: ILUMA One has no auto-start. Inserting a stick does not begin heating by itself, and the button press is deliberate. Auto-start belongs to ILUMA Standard, ILUMA Prime and the whole ILUMA i series, and its absence here is part of what keeps this model the simplest and most affordable of the range. Nothing to clean inside

Blade-based IQOS devices needed regular cleaning because tobacco residue built up on the heating blade. ILUMA One has no blade.

The Smartcore Induction System heats a metal element sealed inside each TEREA stick using a magnetic field, so no part of the device ever contacts tobacco. Sticks come out whole, nothing accumulates internally, and the small tool in the box exists only for the outer cap.

Choosing sticks to go with it

We stock all 75 TEREA flavors across five editions, and the device works with every one of them.

For a first device, three flavors cover most people: Amber coming from full-flavor cigarettes, Yellow coming from lights, Turquoise coming from menthols.

Which edition you pick affects the price noticeably. The Kazakhstan range is our most popular, both on price and for the five Pearl capsule flavors it carries. Armenia is cheaper again with a shorter six-flavor lineup, while the official UAE edition comes in Arabic and English packaging at RRP. Keeping it in good condition

Heat is what shortens a lithium battery, and a parked car in an Abu Dhabi summer will do more damage in an afternoon than months of normal use. Keep it out of direct sun.

Avoid using the device while it’s charging, and use a decent USB-C cable rather than the cheapest available. There’s nothing else to maintain, though with a light finish a quick wipe of the outer casing keeps it looking new for longer than it otherwise would.

Frequently asked questions

Does the beige finish mark easily?

Light finishes show wear sooner than dark ones, and Pebble Grey is marginally more forgiving. Carrying it in a pocket rather than loose in a bag, and wiping the casing occasionally, keeps it looking new.

Is it the same device as the other colours?

Yes. Identical battery, heating system, charge time and performance across all five ILUMA One colours.

Are TEREA sticks included?

No. The kit contains the device, a USB-C cable, a cap cleaning tool and documentation. Sticks are ordered separately.

Is there a plug in the box?

No, just the cable. Any USB-C phone adapter works fine.

How many sticks does a full charge give?

Up to 20, a full pack. Most people charge once a day or less.

Does it heat automatically when I insert a stick?

No. Press and hold the button until it vibrates. Auto-start is available on ILUMA Standard, Prime and the ILUMA i models.

Can I use HEETS with it?

No. HEETS have no metal heating element inside, so induction cannot heat them. TEREA sticks only.
