Specifications

Battery and heat control

The two specifications that matter on this device.

3200 mAh delivers up to 40 sessions per charge. For comparison, an IQOS ILUMA i holder and pocket charger give around twenty between refills.

Temperature is adjustable between 200 and 300°C, with session length from 3 to 6 minutes. That flexibility is absent from every official IQOS device, which runs one profile regardless of what you’re smoking. It rewards anyone who rotates flavours: light aromatic sticks like Silver prefer the low end, full tobaccos like Sienna prefer the high.

Choosing between the induction models

The screen is the decision. If you want to see exact temperature, remaining battery and session time rather than reading indicator lights, the i9 is the one. How to use it

Start with a full USB-C charge. Insert a TEREA stick to the filter line without twisting and begin heating, waiting for the ready signal before drawing.

Temperature and duration are set on the device. Begin in the middle of the range, then tune by ear: more heat when a stick tastes thin, less when it tastes sharp or you want the aroma to show.

Which sticks fit

All TEREA editions, SENTIA, and other Smartcore sticks carrying an internal metal element. The Pearl capsule flavours are no different, since what matters is the element rather than the flavour.

HEETS don’t work. They contain no metal element, leaving induction nothing to heat, so HEETS users need the blade-based Lambda T3 or CC, or the IQOS Originals range. Maintenance

There isn’t much. Induction means no tobacco touches the inside of the device, so no residue accumulates and no cleaning cycle is needed.

What does matter is temperature. A 3200 mAh lithium battery degrades faster in heat than through use, so keep it out of parked cars and direct sun, use the cable it came with, and avoid using it while charging.

Is it an official IQOS product?

No. Lambda is a third-party manufacturer, so there’s no Philip Morris warranty. Any cover comes from the retailer.

Can it heat HEETS?

No. HEETS have no metal element inside, so induction can’t heat them. The blade-based Lambda T3 and CC handle HEETS instead.

Lambda i8 or i9?

The i8 has the same battery, temperature range and compatibility for less. The i9 adds the OLED display and self-cleaning cycle.
