Terea Flavors

Every TEREA flavor we stock, organised by flavor rather than by country. If you already know you want Amber or Turquoise and don’t care which market the pack came from, this is the faster way to shop: pick the flavor, then choose between the editions that carry it.

That last part matters more than most stores admit. Several flavors exist in three or four editions at three or four different prices, so the same Amber can cost noticeably more or less depending only on where the pack was printed.

The one thing that confuses everyone

TEREA’s colour names look like they should tell you whether a stick is menthol. They don’t, and two flavors in particular catch people out.

Silver is a mild tobacco stick with a spicy-herb aroma. It has no menthol and no cooling at all. Yellow is a light tobacco with a citrus aroma note, and again, no menthol. Neither name means what most first-time buyers assume, and buying either one expecting cooling is the single most common mistake we see.

If you want cooling, the reliable names are Turquoise, Menthol, Blue, Green and anything with Black in front of it. If you want fruit with your cooling, that’s Purple and the Wave flavors.

How to choose if you’re new to TEREA

Match what you smoke now, then adjust from there.

Full-flavor cigarettes point to Amber, which is the best-selling TEREA flavor in every market and the one most switchers stay with. Light cigarettes point to Yellow or Silver, both light tobaccos that differ in aroma rather than strength. Menthol cigarettes point to Turquoise, the reference cooling stick in the whole catalogue.

From there the adjustments are simple. Want more body than Amber: Sienna is drier and woodier, Teak is stronger still with a peppery finish. Want warmth and sweetness instead: Bronze brings cocoa and dried fruit forward. Want more cooling than Turquoise: Black Menthol is the coldest pure menthol we sell. Want something with fruit: Purple, or a Pearl capsule stick if you want the flavor to change mid-session.

Every one of these sits in the full TEREA sticks range, and the TEREA edition comparison covers how the five markets differ.

Strength, and why the label doesn’t settle it

Philip Morris labels Amber as a mild Classic blend, yet most users describe it as medium. Both are right, and understanding why saves you buying the wrong stick.

The official descriptor rates the blend: how smooth or bold the tobacco itself is. What users describe is satisfaction, which combines throat sensation, aroma intensity and how much the flavor fills a session. Nicotine doesn’t enter into it at all, because every TEREA stick in every edition carries the same 0.5mg. A “strong” stick is not a stronger stick; it’s a fuller-tasting one.

So mild on a TEREA pack means smooth, not weak. Don’t skip Amber because someone called it mild, and don’t expect Black Menthol to hit harder in nicotine terms just because it tastes more intense.

Same flavor, different editions, different prices

This is where shopping by flavor pays off.

Amber appears in the UAE, Kazakhstan and Armenia ranges. So do Sienna, Yellow, Silver and Turquoise. The blend concept is shared, batch tuning varies slightly by market, and the price varies a lot: Armenia is the cheapest edition we carry, Kazakhstan sits just above it, and the UAE edition is the official local release at RRP with Arabic and English packaging.

The gap comes from tobacco excise in each source market rather than anything inside the pack, which we’ve explained in why imported TEREA costs less. Each flavor page above shows every edition we stock of that flavor side by side, so you can see the trade-off before ordering.

A few flavors don’t work this way because they’re exclusive to one market. The clove Editions belong to Indonesia alone, the graded Regular line and several menthols are Japan-only, Dimensions Ammil and Summer Breeze exist only in the UAE range, and Kazakhstan carries five of the seven Pearl capsule flavors we sell.

What every TEREA flavor has in common

Whichever one you choose: 0.5mg nicotine, up to 14 puffs, roughly a 6-minute session, 20 sticks per pack and 200 per carton. No ash, no combustion, and a used stick that comes out whole.

All of them need an induction device. IQOS ILUMA, the ILUMA i series and Lambda i8, i9 and i10 heat TEREA; the IQOS 3 Duo, Originals models, lil Solid, Lambda T3 and Lambda CC do not, because they use blades rather than induction. How TEREA sticks work explains the mechanism and the device compatibility guide lists every model.

Keeping flavor at its best in the UAE

Heat is the main thing that degrades a TEREA stick, and an Abu Dhabi car in summer will do it faster than anything else. Store packs somewhere cool and dry, keep them sealed until you open them, and leave them in the original packaging, which is built to protect the tobacco from humidity.

Two flavor types suffer most. Citrus notes flatten before anything else does, so Yellow and the citrus menthols lose their brightness first. Pearl capsules are liquid beads, and heat dulls them noticeably.

There’s also a rotation effect worth knowing. Light flavors get buried by heavy ones, so if you alternate, run Yellow or Silver before a Teak or a Black Menthol rather than after, and give the holder a few minutes between a menthol and a plain tobacco stick.

Frequently asked questions

Which TEREA flavor is the best?

Amber, if the question means which one suits the most people. It’s the best-seller in every market and the flavor most cigarette switchers settle on. Best for you depends on what you smoke now: Turquoise if that’s menthol, Yellow or Silver if it’s lights.

Which TEREA flavor is strongest?

Teak among the widely available tobaccos, and Japan’s Rich Regular if you count that edition. Black Menthol is the strongest for cooling. None of them contains more nicotine than any other.

Are Silver and Yellow menthol flavors?

No. Both are tobacco sticks. Silver has a spicy-herb aroma, Yellow a citrus one, and neither has any cooling. Turquoise, Menthol, Blue, Green and the Black variants are the cooling flavors.

Do all TEREA flavors have the same nicotine?

Yes, 0.5mg per stick across every flavor and every edition. Perceived strength comes from the tobacco blend and the cooling level, not from nicotine content.

Is the same flavor identical in every edition?

The blend concept is shared, with slight batch tuning per market. Regular users sometimes notice small differences in body or sweetness; most people notice nothing. What genuinely differs is the price and the packaging language.

What is a Pearl flavor?

A stick with a crushable capsule in the filter. Press it mid-session and the flavor changes, so one stick gives you two experiences. Kazakhstan carries five of them, and they’re the main reason customers pick that edition over official UAE stock.

Can I mix flavors and editions in one device?

Yes. There’s no regional lock and nothing in the device cares which market a stick came from. Plenty of customers keep a budget carton for daily use and something from the Japan range for weekends.
