Oasis Pearl is a two-stage stick. Before you do anything, it’s a creamy, nutty tobacco with a soft warmth to it. About the flavor

Before the click, the hierarchy is tobacco first, creaminess second, a nutty sweetness third. It’s genuinely pleasant on its own, which matters, because plenty of capsule sticks taste like unfinished drafts until you crush them. You could smoke this whole stick without touching the capsule and not feel cheated.

After the click, the order inverts. Tropical fruit takes the lead, with a floral note sitting just behind it and menthol cooling arriving underneath. The creamy base doesn’t disappear, it moves into support, and the combination of cream and tropical fruit is what gives Oasis Pearl its reputation as one of the more sophisticated capsule flavors PMI makes. The aroma follows the same split: warm and mild before, bright and fruity after.

Across a session, most people crush somewhere in the middle. The opening draws stay creamy and warm, the click resets the stick around puff six or seven, and the final third runs cool and fruity to a clean finish. Crush at the very start instead and you get a consistently tropical, cooling session throughout. Fourteen puffs either way, but the shape of them is yours to choose.

Getting the capsule right

The capsule sits in the filter, and it takes a firm pinch between finger and thumb to break. You’ll hear a small click when it goes. Squeeze too gently and nothing happens; squeeze somewhere other than the filter and you’ll just damage the stick.

Two approaches work, and they’re genuinely different products:

Crush before your first puff and the whole session is tropical, floral and cool. Crush at the halfway point and you get the creamy tobacco first, then the switch, which is the way most regular users smoke it and the reason the flavor holds interest longer than single-note sticks.

Where it sits among the Pearls

Japan carries two Pearl flavors. Sun Pearl is the brighter, simpler one: citrus burst, lighter body, the easier introduction to capsules. Oasis Pearl is richer and more layered, and the creamy base gives it a depth Sun Pearl doesn’t attempt.

What’s in the box

20 sticks per pack, 200 per carton across 10 packs, with cartons cheaper per stick. Original Japan-market stock, factory-sealed, Japanese printing and health warnings, flavor name in Latin script. Each stick has its capsule already in place; there’s nothing to add or activate before use.

How to use

Insert the stick printed-end up into any ILUMA holder, no twisting, and let the device start heating (older ILUMA models need the button held until the first vibration). Draw when the second vibration arrives. Crush the capsule whenever you want the switch. Up to 14 puffs or around 6 minutes, 0.5mg nicotine, and the finished stick comes out intact for general waste.

Because Oasis Pearl carries both cream and fruit, it leaves a slightly fuller aroma in the holder than plain tobacco sticks. Nothing needs cleaning, since the tobacco stays sealed inside the stick, but a minute between sessions keeps the next one tasting clean. You get a complete creamy, nutty tobacco session. Oasis Pearl is one of the few capsule sticks that works properly uncrushed, so nothing is wasted if you forget or change your mind.

Can I crush it halfway through?

Yes, and most regular users do. Crushing mid-session gives you the creamy tobacco first and the tropical cooling second, which is the appeal of the flavor.

Is Oasis Pearl the same in the Indonesian edition?

Same flavor concept and the same capsule. Batch tuning varies slightly between markets, and the Indonesian version is the cheaper way to buy it.

Sun Pearl or Oasis Pearl for a first capsule stick?

Does the capsule dry out if the pack sits open?
