Indonesia carries the widest TEREA lineup in the world at 21 flavors, and it splits into distinct families. Three of them share the Black prefix and sit at the top of the intensity scale: Black Green, Black Ruby and this one.

Each takes a standard flavor and pushes it. Black Green intensifies the cooling and green-tobacco character of Green. Black Ruby is the strongest fruit-menthol of the three, built on red berry. Black Purple takes the berry-and-cooling idea and gives it depth rather than sweetness.

About the flavor

The hierarchy runs dark berry and menthol together at the front, with the tobacco base underneath giving it body. The berry reads as blackberry or dark plum rather than a bright red fruit, and the sweetness is restrained. That restraint is deliberate: the darker the berry note, the less it needs sugar to register, and it’s what stops the stick tasting like candy at this intensity.

Across a session the stick moves through three distinct phases. The opening draws are the fruitiest, berry and cold arriving together with the sweetness at its highest. The middle is the most balanced stretch, where the tobacco base becomes properly visible between the fruit and the cooling. The last third turns darker and drier as the berry recedes and the menthol holds, finishing cool with a lingering fruit trace rather than a sugary one. The same flavor across three editions

Purple exists in several TEREA markets, and the versions are not identical. This is one of the few flavor families where you can choose your intensity by choosing your edition.

Purple in the Kazakhstan range is the gentlest: berry with menthol, sweet rather than sharp, and the cheapest of the three. Black Purple Indonesia sits in the middle, darker and colder with the sweetness pulled back. Using it
